ABOUT THE ROLE
World Vision Ireland is now seeking an experienced, ambitious Director
of Fundraising and Communications to develop and implement the
strategic plans for the marketing, sponsorship, communications, and
fundraising activities in line with the organisation's strategy.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
* Lead, motivate and drive the Communications and Fundraising team to
achieve overall organisation objectives and targets
* Identify and execute strategies and plans to generate and increase
revenue income for the organisation through individual giving, direct
marketing campaigns and, corporate and major donor engagement
* Drive the strategic development of all external and internal
communications including campaign management, public relations, online
communications, and advertising
* Generate original and creative ideas for campaigns and activities
that capture the imagination of the media and the public alike.
To take on this important role, you must have significant experience
of developing and successfully implementing a multi-stream income
strategy in a charity, ideally with experience across all income
streams, but in particular direct marketing, philanthropy and
partnerships. You will have strong financial management skills and
experience of managing large income and expenditure budgets. You will
also be a collaborative leader with the vision to inspire and motivate
your team to deliver high-profile and high-impact activity across a
range of disciplines.
